Kymber is a 200hr RYT certified instructor teaching slow paced vinyasa in Denton and live online. Beginners and seasoned practitioners both welcome. Breath first, ego second.
About Kymber
Kymber teaches yoga in Denton and online with a quiet kind of intensity. She came to the mat after years as a competitive athlete. In 2014 she helped lead UTA Maverick Cheer to a Collegiate National Championship with the NCA, and that athletic background still shapes the way she moves and the way she teaches.
She is 200hr RYT certified, trained in the Embodied Posture Method developed by Stacy Dockins. Her classes are slow paced and breath led, designed to meet you where you are. Whether you have practiced for years or you are setting foot on a mat for the first time, she invites you to slow down, breathe, and pay attention.
Kymber believes yoga is not a performance. It is a practice of coming home to the body, one shape at a time.
The Method
Kymber teaches a slow paced, vinyasa based practice rooted in the Embodied Posture Method, an approach created by Stacy Dockins.
EPM aligns each pose to the practitioner in front of you. Instead of forcing one shape onto every body, it pays attention to structure, breath, and body awareness so the practice becomes sustainable and functional. Kymber is trained in this method and brings it to every class she teaches.
Movement follows the breath. Every transition is paced to feel sustainable inside your own body.
Postures are shaped to your structure, not the other way around. Props, modifications, and variations are encouraged.
Strength and mobility you can carry off the mat. A practice you can keep for a lifetime.
The Embodied Posture Method is created and taught by Stacy Dockins. Kymber is trained in EPM.
